OVERVIEW

Soapbox Films, an independent production studio in Los Angeles, needed a refreshed brand and identity that would help showcase the studio’s standout work, while capturing its unique personality. Given the studio’s diverse client portfolio, the new brand identity needed to play nicely with both Disney and Wes Craven, depending on the day.

THE STRATEGY

Through an in-depth analysis of the highly competitive landscape, and intense creative collaboration between our two teams, we established brand distinction that leaned equally on their culture of hard work, and their playful spirit. Their new identity, Serious Fun,™ struck just the right balance — one that would appeal to both family film studios and horror audiences alike.
